Chris joined Morreale as the Communications & Outreach Manager in 2017, bringing with him outstanding experience in communications, government relations and political messaging.

Before joining the Morreale team, Chris served as the Communications Director for the Illinois Lottery where he oversaw the development and execution of advertising strategy and served as spokesperson for the agency. In this capacity Chris organized widely televised press conferences and media availabilities with agency leaders, fielded inquiries from press around the state and helped manage the messaging behind the first private manager transition of any state lottery in the nation.

Previously, Chris served as Government Affairs Manager in the Office of the Governor. Charged with serving as a liaison between the executive branch of the State of Illinois and local government, he built relationships with hundreds of municipal, township and county officials across Illinois.  

Chris began his professional career in electoral politics in Illinois. His experience includes serving as Volunteer Coordinator in the Chicagoland area for Bruce Rauner’s campaign for Governor, where he also directed the campaign's student coalition in northern Illinois. In 2016, Chris joined Bob Dold’s campaign for Congress in Illinois’ 10th district as Deputy Political Director. In both roles Chris managed teams of hundreds of staff, volunteers and interns that were tasked with spreading the message of the two historic campaigns.

Chris earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Dayton.
