Mia is a seasoned marketing manager with over 10 years of experience creating multi-channel business solutions for companies within multiple industries, including food and beverage, telecommunications, technology, and health and wellness.

Originally from Dallas, she brings her marketing and communications experience with a diverse portfolio of industries and clients, including AT&T, McDonald’s Corporation and the City of Atlanta.  Mia has launched multiple domestic and international events such as the 2012 London Olympic Games, Fox’s American Idol Season Finale and the Pebble Beach PGA Tournament. She was also tapped as the point person for a national campaign to eliminate texting while driving, entitled “It Can Wait.” She traveled the country, lobbying the message through speaking engagements, and even appointed a task force of high-school students to lead grassroots, community outreach efforts.

After obtaining her M.S. in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Northwestern University, Mia found her niche in digital marketing. She launched McDonalds’ first Global Social Brand Hub, messaging to customers all over the world. Mia also served as the Senior Engagement Strategist at Abelson Taylor, developing business development strategies for high-profile clients.

Mia volunteers with Back on My Feet and Junior Achievement and is a member of the National Black MBA.  In her spare time, Mia enjoys competing in half-marathons, teaching dance and cheerleading, traveling and spending time with her family and handsome dog, Meeko.
