Mirjana has 20 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, advertising, photography and fine art. Her work delivers clear, effective and authentic communications that translate across print and digital media. At Morreale, Mirjana directs and develops the design of identity, branding, marketing collateral, and digital and print advertising for clients. Prior to her role at Morreale, she gained extensive experience across a broad range of disciplines through work for corporations, non-profit organizations and art collectors worldwide.

Mirjana art directed photography, annual reports and major campaigns for Opportunity International, a non-profit organization that provides micro loans to impoverished people throughout the world.  She worked on the organization’s re-branding, bringing forward the real heroes of this mission—the women (and men) who received micro-loans in their countries, and developed a set design used at all major presentations and fundraising events. She created the ad campaign for CDOT’s Make Way For People initiative, which strived to strengthen Chicagoland communities by converting neighborhood plazas, alleys, sidewalks and streets into social hubs. Her work on the project included Bus Shelter Ads, Digital Billboards, CTA Posters and Trash Bin Advertisements placed throughout Chicago. She has also created artwork for McDonald’s Corporation, including a large-scale work that was used in McDonald’s Supply Chain symposiums throughout the world. Most recently, Mirjana served as Creative Director at the Will County Museum and Research Center handling all graphic design, advertising and photography.

As an adjunct professor at College of DuPage, Mirjana co-authored the book and accompanying workbook Fundamentals of Drawing for Design, sold at Follett Bookstore, and used in drawing classes. Recognized for her work, she is the recipient of several awards and grants including the Association of Marketing and Communication Professional’s Hermes Gold Award, Albert P. Weisman Award and Caxton Club Grant, as well as a variety of awards for her fine art.

Mirjana holds a degree in Packaging Design from the School of Design, Belgrade, Serbia, an AAS in Graphic Design from College of DuPage, a B.A. in Advertising, B.F.A. in Graphic Design and M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts from Columbia College, Chicago.
