IPHA Dementia Caregivers

Overview

The Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) engaged Morreale to develop a recruitment toolkit, aimed at assisting Community Health Workers (CHWs) attract participants for Dementia Caregiver courses and resources. Through our previous work in public health, Morreale understood the hesitancy of some caregivers to accept help and stepped in to support this potentially life-changing initiative. 

Strategy

Morreale's content team provided deep research into the hesitancy surrounding Dementia resources and used that Information to develop a strategy and guide for recruitment. Our award-winning creative team made the images come to life and developed social media graphics and other design elements, which grayed out the background to visually show the impact of dementia on a person's brain and overall quality of life. Additionally, Morreale Identified recruitment locations to make people aware of their services and position the agency as a thought leader in Dementia care.

Results

After the toolkit was launched, Morreale continued to follow up with the client to determine success. IPHA reported an uptick in registration numbers as a result of the materials Morreale created. Additionally, our creative team won an award from the Publicity Club of Chicago for the social media graphics and the digital toolkit.
